Reservations:

Tranquilo Bay's policy with regards to reservations and payment is that 50% of the amount due is payable upon making the reservation in order for us to hold the spot for you.  The remaining 50% is due thirty (30) days prior to your arrival.  In the event that you have to cancel or reschedule your trip, we will provide you with a 100% refund less a $100 processing fee as long as you cancel at least ninety (90) days prior to your arrival.  If you cancel within the period of ninety (90) days prior to your arrival and thirty (30) days prior to your arrival we will refund 70% of your vacation package amount.  If you cancel within the thirty (30) days prior to your arrival, we will attempt to rebook the cabana or cabanas.  In the event we are able to rebook the cabana or cabanas we will refund 70% of your vacation package.  If we are unable to rebook the cabana, we cannot refund your vacation package.  If you reschedule, we will credit all amounts paid to your rescheduled trip.

Rates:

Rates quoted on this website are per person with double occupancy for the designated number of nights.   Any changes are subject to incremental increases in such rates.

Activities:

All activities are subject to agreeable weather.  Tranquilo Bay is not responsible for the weather so we cannot guarantee all activities will be available at all times.  Activities purchased a la carte shall be billed and paid in advance of departure of such excursion.

Gratuities:

Gratuities for bar, dining and cleaning staff are included in your package rate.  Any gratuity you would like to provide to your boat captain, dive master, or guide may be provided directly to such person or to the management at Tranquilo Bay to be provided to such individual.  If you would like, we will work with you to let you know what is reasonable in the area.

Panama City Ground Transportation:

We include ground transfers between Tocumen International Airport and your hotel or direct to Albrook and from your hotel to Albrook on your entrance into Panama and ground transfers from Albrook to your hotel or direct to Tocumen International Airport and then from your hotel to Tocumen International Airport upon your departure from Panama.  We include these transfers for hotels within Panama City.  If you are staying outside of Panama City we will gladly make the transfer for you; however there will be an incremental charge for such service.  Hotels outside of Panama City include Gamboa Rainforest Resort, Hotel Playa Bonita, Canopy Tower and several others.   Please ask us about the incremental charge upon making your reservation.

Travel Days:

Tranquilo Bay travels to Bocas town on Isla Colon on Wednesdays and Saturdays.  All guests should make arrangements  to arrive in Bocas town by 9:00 am on either Wednesday or Saturday.  Guest arrivals on any other day or at any other time will require special arrangements.  Such arrangements are available for guests for an incremental $100 charge for each boat trip.  This charge covers the boat and is not per person.

Single Occupancy Add On Fee:

We will accept single occupancy with the following additional charges:  $604 for 7 night stay, $552 for a 6 night stay, $488.75 for a 5 night stay, $414 for 4 night stay, $330 for 3 night stay.

Booking the entire lodge:

Panama City Stay:

Tranquilo Bay may arrange reservations for you at one of a number of hotels in Panama City if your travel plans require a stay in Panama City.  Tranquilo Bay  has had to implement a slight charge for this service as  Panama City is very busy which often makes finding a room difficult and requires reconfirmation by Tranquilo Bay to ensure you have your room upon arrival in Panama City.  We do require that you confirm these reservations with your credit card.

Domestic Air Transportation:

Tranquilo Bay may purchase your airline tickets for you with one of the domestic airlines for your round-trip transfers between Panama City and Bocas Town.  Tranquilo Bay charges a $10 charge in addition to the price of a round-trip ticket in order to purchase the ticket for you.  Tranquilo Bay will forward you a copy of your paid ticket receipt with your itinerary in advance of your departure to Panama.  All airline tickets are non-refundable.

Panama City Tours:

We will arrange for you a tour of Panama City and the Mira Flores Locks at the Panama Canal with our transportation provider, Easy Travel Panama, upon your request.  You will pay Tranquilo Bay for any tours.
